  • The College of Nursing, NICH, is dedicated to fostering the personal and professional growth of its students. We firmly believe in the principles of clinical competence, excellence in education, holistic care, professionalism, evidence-based practice, and lifelong learning.
  • This educational institution is administered by the Government of Sindh. The degree and diploma programs in nursing are grounded in formal educational principles that underpin the practice of professional nursing.
  • We recognize that nursing is a dynamic profession, rooted in science and continually influenced by advances and innovations in science, technology, and emerging trends in society and healthcare delivery systems.

OBJECTIVES

  • To provide high-quality nursing education comparable to international standards, educating and preparing skillful nurses capable of delivering competent and therapeutic patient care.
  • To equip nurses with the ability to utilize advanced technology in providing high-quality healthcare through nursing research and the application of research findings.
  • To promote academic excellence through evidence-based learning and problem-solving approaches, thereby enhancing the overall quality of bedside nursing care in Pakistan.
  • To employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies for the prevention of illness and the promotion and restoration of health among individuals, families, and communities.
  • To instill a sense of respect for human life and its rights from the moment of conception until natural end, irrespective of caste, religion, race, color, sex, intelligence, or economic status.
