The Pediatric Urology Unit at the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) offers comprehensive diagnostic and surgical care for children with both congenital and acquired urological conditions. Our services include:

  • Hypospadias and epispadias repair
  • Advanced endoscopic management of kidney stones, including RIRS (Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery) and Mini-PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy)
  • Posterior urethral valve Management
  • Ureteropelvic junction obstruction correction
  • Management of undescended testes
  • Treatment of neurogenic bladder
  • Pediatric urological tumors.
  • Management of urinary tract infections and voiding dysfunction

Our team ensures that every child receives individualized care, using the latest techniques in minimally invasive and endoscopic pediatric urology.

Dr. Waqar Hassan Shaikh is a highly trained pediatric urologist with international fellowship experience. With over 5 years of experience in managing complex pediatric urological conditions, he specializes in reconstructive surgeries and advanced endoscopic procedures for children.
